A cozy home library with warm wooden bookshelves and a reading lamp — the inspiration for Schoolhouse Studio

Every great homeschool starts with books, warmth, and a vision.

Our story

Built by someone who
knows this world

Schoolhouse Studio started because we saw a real problem: talented homeschool educators — tutors, curriculum writers, co-op founders — were invisible online. Not because their programs weren't excellent, but because they had no web presence that reflected their credibility.

The agencies that could help were built for school districts, not kitchen-table educators. The templates available were cold, generic, and had nothing to say to the homeschool community.

We built Schoolhouse Studio exclusively for you — the parent-turned-educator who is serious about growing beyond word-of-mouth and reaching the families who need what you offer.

"You don't need a corporate agency. You need someone who speaks your language."

How we work together

A website that works as hard
as you do — without the agency runaround

We don't hand you a template and walk away. We learn your teaching philosophy, your students, and your goals — then build something that genuinely represents you.

We start with a real conversation

A free discovery call where we listen — not pitch. We want to understand your teaching approach, the families you serve, and what you want your website to accomplish. No jargon, no sales decks.

  • Understand your students and community
  • Clarify your goals beyond just 'a website'
  • See if we're a genuine fit — no pressure

We design for your community, not for algorithms

Your site is built to speak directly to homeschool families: warm, credible, and immediately reassuring. Mobile-first, fast-loading, and easy for you to update as your programs grow.

  • Custom design, not off-the-shelf templates
  • Class listings, registration forms, and resource pages
  • Written specifically for the homeschool audience

The transformation

From invisible to
credible and found

This is the story we help homeschool educators write every day.

Before

Growing only through
word-of-mouth — and hoping

  • No website, or a dated one that embarrasses you to share
  • Families can't find you when they search online
  • Your credibility rests entirely on who already knows you
  • Every new student requires a personal introduction
  • You're turning away families because you can't communicate capacity

After

A website that works while
you teach

  • Families discover you through Google searches, then trust you before they reach out
  • Your class listings and curriculum speak for themselves — clearly and warmly
  • Registration and enrollment happen without back-and-forth emails
  • New families arrive already aligned with your approach and expectations
  • You look as professional as you are — and have the inquiries to prove it

What educators say

Real words from real
homeschool educators

Sarah M., homeschool tutor and Schoolhouse Studio client

"Before Schoolhouse Studio, I was relying entirely on Facebook groups to find students. Within two months of launching my new site, I had three inquiries from families who found me through Google — families I never would have reached otherwise."

Sarah M.

Classical homeschool tutor — Charlotte, NC

"They designed our co-op site to handle everything: class listings, registration, a parent portal. It used to take me 20 emails to enroll a family. Now families do it themselves in five minutes."

Jennifer K.

Co-op director — Austin, TX — 65 families

"As a curriculum creator, I needed a site that sold my materials AND told my story. Schoolhouse Studio understood immediately — they didn't need me to explain what homeschooling is. That made everything easier."

Rebecca T.

Curriculum creator — Portland, OR

A note from us

"We take a small number of clients at a time — because every site we build deserves our full attention. If you're wondering whether we're the right fit, the best thing is just to have a conversation. No pitch. No pressure."

Let's have that conversation

Ready to be found?

Let's build the website your
teaching deserves

Start with a free, no-pressure call. We'll talk about your students, your programs, and whether Schoolhouse Studio is the right fit — because it isn't always, and we'll be honest with you.

How long does a site take?

Most projects launch in 3–6 weeks from our first call, depending on scope and how quickly you can share your content.

What does it cost?

Projects start at $1,800 for a foundational tutor site. Co-op and curriculum platforms are priced based on scope — we'll give you a clear number before anything starts.

Do I need to know anything about websites?

Not a thing. We handle the technical side entirely. After launch, we'll teach you how to update your own content — it's simpler than you'd expect.
